Bear
"Few creatures embody the raw power of the wild like the bear. Watching one as it forages, massive paws tearing effortlessly through bark or soil, reminds you of nature’s might. But don’t let its lumbering gait fool you—when provoked, a bear moves with terrifying speed and precision. Legends speak of druids who take the form of these majestic beasts, blending the primal and the mystical into one formidable force."
Basic Information
Ecology and Habitats
Bears are found across a wide variety of environments, from dense forests and high mountains to tundras and grasslands. They typically establish territories in areas rich in food sources, such as rivers teeming with fish, berry-laden thickets, or regions where prey is abundant. Caves, hollow trees, or dense underbrush serve as their dens, offering shelter during hibernation or periods of rest.
Behaviour
Bears are omnivorous and opportunistic feeders, consuming anything from fruits, honey, and plants to fish and small mammals. They are solitary creatures, with the exception of mothers raising cubs. Known for their impressive strength and keen sense of smell, they can detect food from great distances. While generally shy and reclusive, bears become fiercely protective when startled or when their young are threatened.
