As a result of the tip-off in Osaka, the Japanese police are asked to be on the lookout for Bruce Banner and his picture is circulated.
He is spotted by police in Sapporo, but Joe is able to get them out of the situation without an incident.
This is the first time Bruce suspects there may be something other than Gamma mutation going on with his blackouts, as he is unable to find any reports of the Hulk being sighted, despite lacking more than 24 hours of memory, and the incident taking place in a populous area, where it would be almost impossible for Hulk to hide.
