World Security Council
The World Security Council was a political committee which oversaw S.H.I.E.L.D.
The council consisted of politicians or civil servants representing the United States of America, the United Kingdom, China, and India.
Traditionally the American representative on the Council was also the Secretary of State.
Following the Disolution of S.H.I.E.L.D., the Council was also disolved. Although S.H.I.E.L.D. has been reformed, the Council has not been reinstated.
