Sacristan Shielding

Developed by the Ordo Sacris, Sacristan Shielding can be used when crafting numenera devices in order to make the device more resistant to outside influences such as The Malignance. It takes the form of a inky black shroud that absorbs all visible light and can be wrapped around delicate components as needed. When used as an additional component in a crafting task, the resulting numenera device is immune to abilities that might allow the device to be influenced at range. Only the intended interfaces for the device can be used to operate it, and only through touch.
