Ethris Aerilon

The Ethris Aerilon are an avian race that resides in the uppermost levels of the Ethrilian Aerie, the last place in the ninth world that provides an atmosphere they can breathe. Their numbers have dwindled over time as the field that sustains their habitat slowly shrinks. If something is not done to repair it, they will perish.

They are a highly intelligent race, with a well developed language consisting of a mixture of trills and clicks as well as their own dances. Most of their remaining number are quite old, as fewer and fewer fledglings are born in each generation due to the sense of futility in new births as the end of their race looms before them.
