Rogue

Desperate times make for desperate men and women. At the ragged edge of society, oft times these people turn to creative measures to make ends meet. Whether they specialize in burglary, confidence acts, or simple violent robbery, these rogues find themselves at odds with lawful society. On the Thulean Frontier, the same skillset thieves use to beggar their targets proves particularly useful for pillaging ruins and caverns of ancient treasures, and rogues from across the north have descended upon the place.   In the disorganized, often lawless communities of the frontier, rogues can occupy a grey area between legitimacy and outright banditry. They are frequently employed by the powerful, often in an unofficial capacity, to carry out all manner of dirty work. Some even ingratiate themselves with the local power structure, and leverage this relationship into a position of respectability. Thievery is a dangerous career, and most rogues attempt to retire after making their fortune. Of course, it is rare for any haul to ever be considered enough, and every experienced thief feels tempted by the fatal allure of "one last job."
