Shinra Corporation Construction, Energy, & Mining market sector Shinra Corporation is a mining guild that was formerly dominant in the energy and construction markets, but has since been forced out by a series of competitors and PR disasters. Shinra Corporation has only recently begun to shake the perception that their buildings and power supplies are dangerous. Having signed a lucrative contract with Daedalus Corporation, Shinra Corporation has gained a slim market share over ship mounted power plants. Vault-Tec and Weyland-Yutani still out perform Shinra Corporation by a wide margin in Terrestrial based power plants. On the construction side, Shinra Corporation has resorted offering their luxury designs close to the rock bottom prices of OCP’s reinforced concrete mold poured brutalist abominations. Some corners are cut to maintain the ascetics of the designs at the lower price point, but no safety features are compromised. Still Weyland-Yutani maintains a stranglehold on the high-end architectural market, with Shina Corporation only able to pick up clients that can’t tell and/or afford the difference work. There are rumors that Shinra Corporation turned to organized crime to carry them through their lean years, and subsidize their current efforts to undercut the competition. Despite these rumors, the Shinra Corporation steadily recaptures its lost market share quarter over quarter. The current CEO is known to be a member of the Shinra family, but no further information is known to the public. However, at the direction of the current CEO – Shinra Corporation has begun legal consultation and representation services. The practice was initially extended to their direct clients, but has expanded to wider availability following some high-profile successes.
