Session 8: INS Andromeda: Operation Zulu. Report

General Summary

The men and women for the INS Andromeda are hard at work trying to get operational as soon as possible. Unknown ships have been seen flying in out of the High Guard for several days now. The nobel in charge of the system Knight Ezekiel Ducal had asked captain Hornblower to send his Star Marines to the planet of Kisstea where a distress call was received of an unknown ship arriving on the planet and people starting to disappear at night.  The Distress call all so talked about storage units being hit and major supplies be stolen. Unfortunately the Star Marines had to depart without the Andromeda due to the freshwater system having issues and a mysterious virus that shut down all the computers on the ship and the High Port Tyson. While on the High port Tyson it was also learned that A pirate who is starting to make a name for himself by the name of Lunk Thunderchin was actually captured by the INS Andromeda but using a alias name of Sampson Macnamee was able to escape the High Port at the cost of several lives of the Imperial security officers. Meanwhile on the planet of the Kisstea Alpha and Bravo company landed at the airport of the town of Trout Berk to find the town under attack by the Aslan from the Glorious Empire who are not members of the Hierate and are known to capture human as slaves. This is the first know attack of the Glorious Empire attacking in Imperial Space. This will be troubling news to the High command and High government officials of the Third Imperium. Alpa and Bravo company were able to secure the airport and the town of Trout berk with in the a couple of hours of landing.  It was determined that the Aslan went north on the one of rail lines taking citizens of the town with them.  Intel reports from the planets local Military leader General Abner Perkens that several ships had come and gone from the planet in the past several days.  Casualties from the skirmish at the airport were light with each company losing only a handful of marines that were KIA and a handful of wounded. The two companies moved on each side of the rail line heading north around ten clicks the Star marines found the back end of the train that headed north as they continued north finding dead and surviving citizens of Trout Berk.  Comms were sent out and Helicopters left the Airport heading to the coordinates left where the survivors were left under the protection of a Platoon from Bravo company. Colonel Tuh left with this helicopter and the remaining members of the platoon from Alpha company to protect the colonel. Going another two clicks the two companies picked up the trail that led to a cave where as they entered a Safari Class k ship called the CSS Hammerhead was seen leaving the scene and heading out of orbit. A Fire fight once again erupted between the Star Marines and Aslan with the Aslan being taken out.  All that was left was the Ship and a Cave area that had not been explored yet. Alpha company was ordered to finish sweeping out the cave while Bravo company was ordered to take the ship. On the Andromeda Acting XO Commander White discovered  that the weapons of the Andromeda had been sabotaged shortly after the departure of the Star Marines. His investigation  led to a crew member seen in the area of the weapons area shortly before there departure. The crew member managed to keep his face out of the security cameras.  Commander White came up with Three names that work in the weapons section Ensign Serebrov Yakovich, spacer Jed Winslow, P1C Randy Bart. Commander White began researching the backgrounds of the these individuals finding nothing that could really incriminate them.
