Session 7 Imperial Navy vs the Glorious Empire. Report
General Summary
The senior officers of the Star Marines and the XO met in the CIC to discuss the operation to investigate the possible sighting of the Aslan. Captain Hornblower is upset that the Andromeda can not assist due to power and computer issues. Commander White is acting XO as commander BirdLaHer is going on the mission with the marines. The captain named the action Operation Zulu. At 18:30 hours Alpha and Bravo companies launched with a 28 hour ride to the planet of Kistea. 24 hours into the mission and four hours from D-day A distress signal was able to get through with confirmation that the Aslan were on the planet and taking humans as slaves. A slave ship had been spotted going into a cave. Two more slave ships had been spotted leaving the planet in the past 24 hours. As the XO and senior officers read the latest intel on the computers were able to determine that a salve ship could hold up to 1500 would be slaves on each ship. Meanwhile on the Andromeda the progress of the repairs required to get her operational was on schedule. It would be another 24 hours before she could fly again. Just before Strike force Zulu landed and emergency com message lit up the com's on the bridge. It was the security team from the Tyson High Port requesting assistance at the brig. There was an explosion and no one is responding. The captain ordered Commander White to take a naval security team to investigate. Back on the planet of Kristea in the city of Trout Berk the cameras on the troop transport ship could begin to pick up the city. There were three trains on rails heading north. It looked like the Aslan were loading people on to the train cars. Other people could be seen running to the airport as the emergency broad cast has suggested. Parts of the city was on fire. as the troop transports landed at the airport the planet's military units could be seen securing LZ for the four ships flying in. Colonol Tuh ordered Bravo company to secure the primator of the Airport and help with the civilian evacuations as they were told some C-130s were flying in to help get the civilians out. Gunfire was erupting from the airport as Aslan could be seen running into the buildings for cover. They were not expecting two full compines of Star marines. Alpha company and Colonel Tuh headed to the building to deal with the Aslan and save as many cilivian they could. Mean while on High Port Tyson Commander White arrived at the brig to find the lights out and the auxiliary power on. As they approached the door captain Cooter punched in the code to open the door. Three guards could be seen laying on the ground unconscious from repeated attacks from stun weapons. Weapons fires evidence could be seen from the actual door that leads to the prison cells themselves. The remains of two imperial security members only remained and a breached door that was blow up by c-4 charges. Inside the room where the cell are two of the cell doors were breached. The door where the pilot was and the door to the captain of the CSS Dirty Curse. Meanwhile on Kristea alpha company approached the from the north and the west. Captain Blackmain leading one team and Lieutenant Victorvana leading the other team. Colonel Tuh went with Victorvana. On Tyson Commander White found the very beaten and broken body of Captain Archibald Bradley. As he told his men to get a doctor to the brig as fast as possible the team corpsman did his best to comfort captain Bradley. The pilot Sampson Mcnamee was nowhere to be found. Captain Bradley seeing commander White starting mumbling to the commander asking why did he do what he did. I followed his orders. I did everything I was ordered todo. I didn't betray him why did he do this to me. As blood poured out of his mouth with every grasp and phrase he would say. Commander White as he listened to the captain began to put together his broken phrases and realized that the pilot was actually the captain and not just any captain it was Lunk Thunderchin. On Kristea Alpha company began there sweep of the airport running into a squad of Aslan and a firefight erupted between the two. Colonel Tuh honor was put on the line by the Aslan clan of the Glorious empire. The Humans in his battalion did not understand this one on one combat and only saw a wounded commander and did there job in taking out the enemy and protecting their commander. Captain Blackmain as he was finishing his sweep to the south discovered over 100 children scared out of there mines at the sight of the 7ft bugs taking there mom's and dad's now they were looking at a wolf in combat armour walking on its hind legs like a human. They had no idea what to think. Captain Blackmain also discovered that the Aslan had escaped out the southern door heading to the train depot in the middle of town. Commander MagMarnar and Captain Lewis along with the planets military forces under the command of General Abner Perkens. Three C-130 planes get off the ground with the wounded, women, and children. The planets military forces took 25 percent casualties in the gun fight. All of the town leadership is missing. Commander MagMarNar that Colonel Tuh and a few marines were wounded in the engagement as well. Captain Lewis tooks some casualties as well in evacuating civilians on the plane. The commander is also told that all three trains have packed with people and is heading north. On Tyson as commander White orders a complete shutdown of the high port goes to the securtiy office to observe the cameras looking to see where Lunk Thunderchin might have gone. As the pains staking ordeal of looking over footage of several cameras it was determined that Thunderchin and White passed each other in the hangar bays of the ships docks when the his team first departed the Andromeda heading to the brig. The ship he left on was an Aslan ship docked next to the Andromeda.
