Session 6 INS Andromeda: Embassy Rescue Report

General Summary

As the required repairs goes on the INS Andromeda captain Hornblower made it clear that he was a little dissapointed in being broke down with just a week in to service on its maiden voyage. Even those who can some how sense the ships mood can feel the disappointment as well. Commander White has spent three of the five days running the engineering department as power issues also became apparent with the computer malfunction. Commander White first priority was to get the High Port Tyson and the Low Port Ali computers and power up and running while having to rely on his junior officers to get the Andromeda back to order as well. Because of the TL of the planet commander White has told the captain that they could get the computer usage to 75 percent, but could get the ships power up to 100 percent. The Imperial security team was able to locate Lieutenant Hogan at the Torpedo club having a good time on what he thought was his liberty. It would be discovered later that he had his com dot turned off and that is why he could not be contacted. The Lieutenant reported for duty drunk and was ordered by the XO to stand down and was told by his company commander captain Lynn that he was not allowed to drink anymore while serving on the Andromeda. On the third day the senior Marine officers and the XO was contacted and told to report to the Highport Governors office. Once there along with captain Hornblower the officers met the system Knight Elijah Ducal who is the system noble in charge of the system. Elijah Ducal is a cousin of the Sector Duke  Theodore Ducal of Tobia the capitial of subsector. The Ducal family are major political power in the Trojan Reach with some questionable family members. Theodore has a lot of political pull in the Trojan Reach. A distress signal was received by the General Development company about an unknow ship that has arrived on the planet of Kristea. A warehouse was robbed of 10MCr of raw material. The distress call also said something about 100 people disappearing as well.  Colonol Tue suspect's  the Glorious Empire.  When attempting to contact the planet it was learned that the communications was being jammed by Aslan technology. The highly trained crew of the Andromeda was able to break through the jam to get a hold of Dr.  DR. Louiza Remou the current leader of the continent of Odari which is located in the western hemisphere of the planet and the size of Australia. Dr. Luiza Remou has given permission for the Star Marines to land at the air port of Trout Berk and investigate the 7ft bug called a Aslan. She wants to be updated of the situation as well. Captain Blackmain eagerly looks forward to his first action as a company commander.  The Star Marines are at DEFCON 2 and have six hours to deploy to the planet of Kristea.
