Session 3 INS Andromeda: Maidan Voyage Report
General Summary
Navel Base Omega has been on DEFCON 4 for 12 days due to the arrival of four brand new ships and the construction project started two years ago is completed. . No one was allowed to leave the base once they have arrived. Navel personal assigned to ships were not allowed to leave there ships with the exception of the CO and XO. Marine personal were were restricted to base liberty only. No one has seen any capitial ships moving with the exception of a few destroyers. As the military personal waited for orders one second lieutenant decided that he was not going to check in. Fresh out of the Academy reporting to his first duty station and observed very quickly what was going on. No body was going to restrict his freedom at my first duty station he said. Lieutenant Ryker Hogan went into the town of Omega two or three times. Witness also have him doing a walk about as he told them through out the base avoiding any contact with the MP's . Lieutenant Hogan was witnessed being in the E-club partying with the enlisted as well as starting a big braw with the Navy personal calling them a bunch of derogatory names. This fight ended up with over 200 navel personal and 50 Star Marine personal in sick bay with various injuries including some be put in med beds for a couple of days. Lieutenant Hogan was confronted Captains Blackmane and Lynn at the officers chow hall and told to report to Captain Lynn company office as it was discovered was in Captain Lynn's company. Commander MagMarNar who learned of this through the ships doctor went to the HQ of the 6982nd HQ to deal with situation. Arriving at the 10:00 scheduled formation it was learned that Lieutenant still had not reported in. This opted for the colonel Tue, captain Blackmain, captain Lewis, and the Platoon commanders to start a base wide search for the missing officer. Spending the majority of day to find him which ended up being in the Officer club. He was arrested by the MPs and taken to the brig. That night the Heavy INS Andromeda and the INS Reliant and the 1st Battalion were put on alert to Defcon 2 with only six hours to report. The Star Marines were finally got to see the new constructed project as the all the capitial ships have been hidden in a secret part of the base in the base of the mountains not letting any one flying by able to scan or see how many ship were at the Naval Depot Omega. Once on the ship all officers were ordered to report to ready room 1 at 11:00 hours. for a Briefing. 11:00 hours Vice Admiral (***) Crownover address the ships officers apologizing for not having the normal protocol for sending off brand new ships. He congratulates each officer for being selected to the INS Andromeda. Tells the officer that he is the Task force commander in command of 40 vessels plus support. He than introduces the Captain Hartio Hornblower as the Andromeda commanding officer. Commander BirdLerHer MagMarNar as the Executive Officer, and Commander Dominick White as number 3. Captain Hartio give a welcome aboard speech and tell the men that he wants to on the way by 07:30 hours. As Ordered The INS Andromeda was underway at 07:30 hours heading off for their mission.
