Session 13 Marooned on Marduk Report
General Summary
The shuttle craft CSS Pandrisha has crash landed on the planet of Marduk. The crew of the Shenanigans saw ocean and several islands as the pilots tired to escape the Oghma raiders unfortunately they were not able to dodge the last missile attack and gave their lives trying to land in a save spot on one of the islands. The crew does not now how far or how close they are to what they have been told what is civilization on this planet. The crew is not even sure if a distress single got out before the ship crashed and lost all its power. One of the passenger a native of Marduk , by the name of Karine Lukowiak, that Oghma raiders were more than likely the one who hit the Pandrisha and that they would be looking for it for scraps, parts and to sell the survivors into slavery to the Oghma tribes or the Glorious Empire. The crew began salvaging what they could get from the shuttle. water, survival kits, personal survival kits, and some weapons including a rifle and shot guns with ammunition for it. The planet air was breathable but it was starting to get dark plus the weather was change with a light rain starting to fall. The crew had decided that they need to find shelter away from the ship hoping that a distress single did get out. The terrine was similar to the plains of the of the plains states mid height Brumble type vegetation. There was some sparse trees in the area as well. As the party continued into the dusk the crew found evidence of what was once cities or towns along with what once was roads and walls of buildings. Karine tells the crew as they are moving that at one time Markuk was a great civilization with great cities, lush lands, and even space travel. Then the fall of the Sindalian Empire and the repercussion that followed caused the current results of Marduk. The planet Oghma is the only planet in this region that has space travel ability but its limited to where they can travel. As the evening proceeds the party realizes that they are being followed by something or someone. Karine tells the party that she is not from this island and has no idea what native creatures or natives it could be. Then in a flash one of these Hyena looking creature attacks on of the party members then a second and third attack. Party members getting damage as these creatures did hit and run tactics. Elliot figured out through trial and error that these creatures were pushing them or herding them in one direction. As the rain continued to get worse the creature still pushed them on one direction. As the party continued to head west of the ship they spotted a set of ruins that could work as shelter for the night. Tracks were spotted by Elliot coming in and out of the ruins. Elliot's mind racing thinking maybe these creature pup were in these ruins. Heavy rain began to fall and with the exception of the light from the survial kits its pitch black with occasional light from lighting. The party is at the ruins safe or are they safe.

The kit is designed to save up to a dozen survivors after a crash, and contains the following items:

* Hatchet
* Field medical kit
* 12 Personal survival kits
* 12 Sets of emergency cold weather clothing

* Field rations for 60 person-days (5 days for 12 people)
* 4 Bulk water storage containers with filters
* 4 Cold light lanterns/beacons good for about 100 hours' operation each
* Water purification kit
Each personal survival kit is contained in a small backpack, enabling it to be quickly grabbed in a serious emergency. The pack has a fold-out section that turns it into a emergency shelter/sleeping bag. In addition, each pack contains the following:
* Small knife
* Fire-starting equipment
* Cold light flashlight good for about 24 hours' operation
* 6 Chemical lightsticks good for about 12 hours each
* Blanket/poncho and headcover
* 4 days' preserved rations for 1 person
* Water bottle
* Compass
* Light cord
* Mirror
* Water purification tablets
* Survival manual
