INS Andromeda: Session 4 First Mission Report
General Summary
The INS Andromeda have left on their maiden voyage the excitement of many crew members can be felt through out the ship. Some crew members think something is up with the Andromeda as they feel that the ships seems to have it owns personality. Commander White has vowed to research and find out if there is something on the Andromeda. Captain Hornblower has decided to give the XO the choice of where to go based on the orders that were issued by Admiral Crownover. Commander MagMarNar plotting the course and set the heading to the system of Fist. Per standard operation traveling in light speed a week later the Andromeda arrived in the system of Fist four parsecs from there homeport of Tobia system. Commander MagMarNar talked to the prisoner 2nd Lieutenant Ryker Hogan about his actions on Omega Naval Depot and decided to give him a second chance to prove his worth to the unit. Lieutenant thanked the commander for the second chance. Once arriving into the system scanners picked up on a comet traveling through the system. Scanner also picked up on a scout ship in the area. A communication was attempted on the scout ship with no response back. The ship started heading away from them with no response. The computer logs picked up the name of the ship as the CSS Dirty Curse. As communications attempts were still being attempted Commander White picked up signatures of the ship attempting to jump out of the system. Commander MagMarNar ordered a warning shot over the bow of the ship. A young enlisted spacer first time behind the gun fired using the firing the fusion barbette which as a lethal radiation effect. This raised eyebrow of the captain as the choices of Commander MagMarNar. Then a focused shot was shot at the engine's crippling the vessel. A boarding party led by Colonel Tue, Captain Lewis, and Captain Blackmain with Commander MagMarNar joining. Three of the pirates hidden in the ship tried to take out the boarding party as the battle ensued commander MagMarNar was wounded in the conflict. The crew took out the pirates capturing the captain Archibald Bradley and pilot of the ship Sampson McNamee. 20 tons of stolen goods were also found on the ship. The crew proceeded to interrogate the pirates finding about a pirate by the name of Lunk Thunderchin captain of the CSS. Shenaningans. When commander White said that the captain was a Timotheus Denniston the pirate said he had never heard any one by that name. further investigation and interrogation showed the Shenanigan's was wanted for questioning by the 43rd fleet over a Aslan Slave ship. The last known location of the Shenanigans was Walston in the system of Walston.
