Overview
Bahamut is the deity of good dragons, metallic dragons, wisdom, and enlightened justice. He is widely worshipped throughout the world and has a well known following known as the Church of the Platinum Dragon. He is also known as an active god, often intervening in the lives of his followers and communicating directly with clerics in his church.
Relationships with other Deities
Bahamut is famously opposed to Tiemat, the deity of chromatic and evil dragons. Locked in a millennium old battle, each encourage their draconic children (notably not dragonborn just the actual dragons) to hunt and kill eachother, acting as a proxy for the two deities' age old feud.

While not all metallic dragonborn and dragons necessarily worship Bahamut, most pay homage to him in some way, and all are given sanctuary within the Church of the Platinum Dragon.
