At a young age Uztu and his family were captured by Yuan-ti and converted into Yuan-ti themselves.
While his family lost all emotion, Uztu still retained his emotions.
After about 40 years living in the Kingdom of the Forked Tongue, Uztu finally escaped. He now has a hatred for other Yuan-ti.
