Kostchtichie, is a demon lord worshipped by groups of frost giants.

History

Sometime before the 15th century, Kostchtichie was defeated by the archdevil Zariel and imprisoned in a ravine that would become known as Kostchtichie's Maw. Kostchtichie's warhammer, Matalotok, was also taken by Zariel for her own use. Additionally, to keep the demon lord imprisoned, a phylactery of his soul was taken and hidden in a storm ravaged mountain.
During the Damnation of Elturel, Kostchtichie was approached by a group of Hellriders, led by Alcor Miursa, looking to free Elturel. Wishing to be free and wanting to enact revenge on Zariel, Kostchtichie promised to aid the Hellriders in freeing their city if they could return his phylactery to him. However, before the Hellriders could succeed, they were captured by agents of the archdevil Gargauth, who wanted them for his own purposes, leaving the demon lord enraged.
