Dead Three

The Dead Three was the name given to the trio of formal mortals turned gods Bane, Bhaal, and Myrkul.

Around the 800's CR, the trio of adventurers approached the god Jergal, demanding he cede his powers over death to them. Jergal, tired of his position, agreed. The members of the Dead Three divided Jergal's power amongst themselves. Bane became the god of tyranny, Bhaal the god of murder, and Myrkul the god of death.
Now gods, this trio finds themselves joined as allies nearly as often as they scheme and plot against one another.
