Seelie Court
The Seelie Court, also known as the Summer Court or the Court of Twilight, is the governing body of the Feywilds. It is lead by the Dawn King and the Twilight Queen of the Fey and their royal court of archfey. Beneath the monarchs are three lower courts: The Court of Seasons and the Court of Months, and the Court of Days.
The Court of Seasons consists of four archfey who answer directly to the king and queen, and serve as their royal advisors. The Seasonal Archfey, as the name implies, embody the four seasons of the natural world: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Each Seasonal Archfey has three delegates who serve them in the Court of Months, which has a total of 12 members, one for each month of the year. Under each Monthly Archfey are between 29 and 31 representatives from the various fey species and clans, one for each day of their corresponding Monthly Archfey's designated month, with a total of 365 fey representatives making up the Court of Days.
Each month's Court of Days convenes on the ides of their month, where representatives report the goings-on of their territories to their Monthly Archfey. Meanwhile, the Court of Months gathers to discuss with the other monthly court fey on the last day of every 3 months, meeting a total for 4 times each year. The Court of Seasons additionally convenes on the first day of each year's seasons, while all of the courts gather together on the equinoxes where the entire Seelie Court meets and airs grievances to the Morning King and the Twilight Queen.
