Tycho Praedor was the man who took Praedor from a kingdom to an empire and thus became the first High Emperor of Praedor, he was not born a king. He started out life as a simple mercenary, and a commoner with no last name, but who found a legendary sword known as the Ardenglade, and over time raised up enough followers and enough influence to lay claim to the city of Paniscan. After he conquered the city he swiftly established his nation by conquering the surrounding region until he had united all of Southeastern Odoris and the Praedian peoples. 
It was at this point that he took the last name Praedor and declared his intention to end the constant turmoil. He spent the next decade establishing his rule, before marching northward and conquering the Nordsee people. It was in that campaign that Tycho and his companions became known as the Dragons of Praedor, as their skill in battle seemed to be unmatched. Tycho became known as The Golden Dragon King, as he seemed to be unnatually lucky, a born leader, and a paragon of order. After conquering Northeastern Odoris Tycho ended his expansion as he was growing old. He spent the last few decades of his life working to integrate the newly conquered people into his empire, and to establish a set of rules to ensure the empire would remain stable after his death.
Today many see him as a source of inspiration. He demonstrated how even the lowliest peasant can rise up and forge a legacy

Motivation

Tycho Praedor was deeply driven to expand his kingdom into an empire. He believed that a determined enough ruler could stop the constant conflict occurring in Eastern Odoris, and could bring in an age of prosperity. On the battlefield he was also famous for striving to ensure as few casualties as possible, and for protecting those he was close too. He was also a firm believer in civilization and the importance of order.

Circumstances of Death

Tycho Praedor died peacefully at the age of one hundred and seven. He was succeeded by his son who continued the expansion of the empire.
