Thana' Thea, The Mother of Souls

Thana' Thea is the goddess responsible for the creation of all souls from the lowliest insect to even the gods themselves. At the beginning of each souls existence Than' Theo weaves a personality for it, before sending out into the world to become a new life, and when that life comes to an end Thana' Thea is responsible for transporting it to its proper destination. Thana' Thea is described as a mysterious entity, appearing as a cloaked figure with two piercing eyes peering out from a shadowy hood. Long hair spills out from the sides of the hood, and a thousand arms work tirelessly, crafting new souls and weaving their potential destinies. Her appearance does not give many clues to her gender, but those who have heard her speak note that she has a distinctly feminine voice with a soft, motherly tone.   Thana' Thea has three roles that she performs for the universe. The first is the creation of new souls. She is the source of new life as she continuously makes new souls with distinct personalities and destinies. Once a soul has been made it begins travelling through the ethereal plane to the material realm, where it will be born and begin life. Thana' Thea's next role is overseeing the destiny of the souls. The destinies that she weaves are not a straight path set in stone, rather they are a web of possibilities that the goddess gradually trims as the soul goes through its life. When the soul dies a single thread from the original web remains. That thread contains the records of that creatures life. Thana' Thea then weaves that thread into the the collection of all completed soul threads known as the Infinite Tapestry. Once a soul thread has been put into the tapestry that soul is sealed in place, and will forever more be unchanging. This leads to Thana' Thea's final task which is to then shepherd the souls of the dead to their final resting places. Some of these souls will be in further need of refinement, and will reincarnate and return to the earth. These souls are typically particularly powerful, and have further potential that must be explored over multiple lives. The majority of souls will be claimed by one god or another, where they will take on some role in one of the different planes of reality. Some of these souls are even claimed by Thana' Thea herself, where they become her assistants helping to collect other souls and watching over the cycle of life and death.   Followers of Thana' Thea are exceedingly rare, as she exclusively almost works with the time outside of life. The one exception to this is in the case of undead, which Thana' Thea's followers are tasked with eliminating. True undeath removes the souls from the cycle and extended existence trapped as an undead creature can cause irreparable damage to a soul, corrupting it with the same evil used to trap it in the first place. As undead are commonly a threat to most societies Thana' Thea and her followers are generally in good standing with most people, though those who have less of an understanding about who they are and what they do may be slightly off put
