Dhuzum, The Old Man Who Watches

The Old Man Who Watches, The Great Chronicler

Dhuzum was the first being to come into existence, and he will also be the last. Dhuzum has only ever directly done one thing to the universe: begin the process of time. Since that first action that led to all others, Dhuzum has only watched, and written. The Old Man Who Watches is the chronicler of the universe. All of history is said to be written down in his book, and he will only stop writing when it is time for the universe to come to an end. Dhuzum is commonly depicted as an old man in a simple gray robe, and actively writing in a large book.   Dhuzum does not have a large following. His tendency to avoid interfering with the universe means he has very few clerics, and those who do follow him generally take a similar role to him, as passive observers. Most of his followers also choose to avoid picking sides or seeking glory, they see it as their role to emulate The Old Man Who Watches, and take up the cause of recording history. Some of the more good inclined followers take it a step further and see it as their chosen duty to spread knowledge and truth, but Dhuzum does not seem to directly endorse or reward that. Some also wonder if Dhuzum is a scientist, and if he is recording the results of some great experiment that is the universe, though Dhuzum has been silent on this topic as well.
