"Well of course it's expensive, that's specially treated pacawool, all the way from the Green Zone. If you want it cheap, take the month trek to Clothland. But here? That's the best I can do, and it's a fair price."
Clothland, south of the Green Zone and along the King's River, is a burgeoning city known for its textile manufacturing.

Demographics

Clothland's proximity to the King's River and its many opportunities for work have resulted in an extremely diverse populace from across Pritvy.

Government

Clothland is run by a council comprised of all the local business owners. When things cannot be mediated within the council and must come to a vote, the amount of votes a council member may submit is correlated with the number of employees they have.

Defences

Over the last twenty years Clothland has begun to build and expand its defenses. Clothland is currently surrounded by a tall wall made from local materials and scavenged metal. Guard towers are dotted along the wall and maintained by an experienced local militia.

Industry & Trade

Clothland is all about trade. Goods from the Green Zone are continually sent down the King's River to supply Clothland with raw wool and plants for dying and textile treating. Clothland exports both finished clothing and raw textiles all across Pritvy.

History

Clothland began as a water-powered textile factory south of the Green Zone, utilizing the abundance of nearby Pacamin wool. While many things could be scavenged, good clothing was difficult to find. Over time, people came to Clothland looking for work. Entrepreneurs came with them, encouraged by the local resources and proximity to the region's most popular travel route, King's River.

Geography

Clothland is located on the rolling hills south of the Green Zone and the Pacamin mountains. It has developed along both coasts of King's River.
