Dhampir

Dhampir are the offspring of mortals and vampires—beings caught between the living and the undead. They walk the line between two worlds, often shunned by both. While they do not share the full curse of vampirism, they inherit a shadow of its power, along with an unnatural vitality and a haunting presence. Dhampir appear mostly human but carry subtle, unsettling features: pale or cool-toned skin, eyes that reflect moonlight, and a stillness that unnerves others. Their movements are graceful and precise, and they often possess an alluring voice or gaze. Though they do not require blood to survive, many feel an inherited hunger they must learn to master.   Dhampir rarely gather in communities of their own, instead living as wanderers, mercenaries, or scholars of forbidden lore. Some seek to embrace their dark legacy, while others fight to rise above it. Their clothing tends toward the dark, refined, or practical, often chosen to avoid drawing attention—or to command it when needed.
