Writer
"Writers" (with a capital "W") is what the Awakened call all storytellers, regardless of medium. Awakened know, logically, that the Writers exist - after all, if their lives are part of fictional stories, there must be someone to create those stories - but much like the Real World, they have very little knowledge about them. Some Awakened view them as gods but most learn fairly quickly that they are flawed, fallible people.
Writers sometimes create avatars in their stories - fictional versions of themselves or characters who represent them. Interestingly, these characters almost never become Awakened.
