Settling in at Oleg's Trading Post

The party had just defeated Happs and his bandits, and had taken all their gear, as well as one of the bandits captive. The treasure from the bandits added up to 1 dagger, 3 short swords, 2 longbows, 3 sets of leather armour and 70 gp and 5 sp Oleg offered to hold the captive bandit in the store-room in the tavern, which had a very secure lock. The party agreed to this and locked the bandit up whilst they decided what to do with him.   The group discuss long and hard, and also within hearing of the bandit, how to get information out of him. Ootag is keen on just chopping off body parts until the information starts to flow, and then maybe take a few more for good measure. Freya liked this approach from Ootag and decided to use the fact that the bandit could hear the booming voice of the barbarian to play good cop / bad cop. So Freya and Tordus went into the room, whilst Ootag made loud threatening noises from outside and questioned the bandit. The bandit easily gave out information, as he didn't want to die. He described that the camp was about two days march south-west from here, just inside the forest on the Thorn River and consisted of 8 other bandits, plus the leader, a lady-bandit called Kressle. The bandit explained how Happs was the 2-IC to Kressle, but that Kressle was very scary and very skilled with her twin axes.   The party was not put-off and resolved to head off the next day to find the bandit camp, and if possible, put an end to them so that Oleg and Svetlana would no longer feel afraid in their home. As the party prepared for the trip into the Northern Greenbelt to find the bandits, Oleg took them aside and explained that the first time the bandits had come, they had stolen Svetlana's wedding ring. She tried to pretend it was nothing, but Oleg knew that it meant a lot to her, and it meant a lot to him. Unfortunately, Svetlana had forbidden him to risk his life going looking for it. He was hopeful that the party would find it and return it, and if they did he would give them 1000 gp credit at his trading post. The party agreed to his terms, but didn't buy any goods before setting out and before getting their credit. As it turned out, it was a couple of days later before the party set out as a heavy rain storm passed through the area, making travel near impossible.
