Quantum Field Data Core

The Quantum Field Data Core is a miraculous invention which alows astronomically advanced calculations to be performed in a computing device not bigger than a human brain.  This has allowed AI development to progress into a humaniform design.  This has lead to the development of synthetic humanoid robots, commonly referred to as Synths.  Synths have significantly higher performance capabilities than robots, drones, or droids.

Manufacturing

Synths are manufactured almost exclusively by the Cyber Gen corporation.

Inventor(s)

Del and Gren Haakmun invented the Quantum Field data core, and founded Hawkmoon Robotics in 227 RE.  Hawkmoon Robotics was later acquired by Cyber Gen in a hostile takeover in 311 RE.
