Cedar Falls

Cedar Falls is the name for six city blocks on the east bank of the Yakima River, adjacent to the Cedar Falls Dam.

History

Technically, the Cedar Falls Power Plant is owned and operated by the state of North Pacifica, but in reality it's only with funding and technical support from Zaibatsu Tech that plant stays operational. Zaibatsu accepted a contract to help maintain and operate the plant over 40 years ago, and proceeded to tear down the surrounding neighborhoods to make way for new housing units for their employees.

Tourism

Cedar Falls is a dismal place, the towering tenement buildings block out most of the sun and the noise from the power plant is oppressive and constant.
