Winter King

The King class bulk transport airship is a longstanding and highly respected airship design, while few examples of its class remain in service the design is considered one of the best of its era and the first cargo airship to incorporate a combination of engine thrust vectoring and electromagnetic lift cells.
The hull layout is simple, with four engine nacelles positioned at each of the ships four corners. Extensions off the front and rear of the vessel provide for a large loading ramp at the rear, while the nose of the vessel crests upward to suspend over the rest of the hull. The vessels standard cargo capacity is about twice the size of a modern C5 galaxy cargo plane, enabling it to move massive cargo loads great distances with much greater fuel efficiency than any fixed wing platform.
Powered by a set of first generation Hiat turbo propeller engines, the King transport was considered among the loudest of the airship designs ever built. Though in exchange for its excessive noize the engines could produce incredible power. Typical cruising speeds for King transports vary depending on cargo load, though max capacity safe cruising speeds were much lower due to structural constraints. A fully loaded King transport often operated at standard cruising speeds below 140mph.
