Miguel was known for his temper, and had one or two insubordination marks on his record, though they had not prevented him from rising through the ranks on shear grit. Both insubordination marks on his record were from the same incident, and involved him refusing to fire his weapons when ordered to because of concerns over collateral damage. Those concerns that turned out to be valid, and were the only reason he wasn't in jail right now, though that act hadn't spared him some political consequences. The Resolve was not the most desirable ship in the fleet to be assigned to. It had an ironic reputation for breaking people as much as building them.
