Leaf Pixie

Leaf pixies are small beings, debated to be either plant or beast, or perhaps both. They are intelligent, sapient, and miscevious yet friendly. They are supposedly relatedĀ pixies, or to dryads, hence the name. Some even consider them to be a bit of both, perhaps created by a mage performing some experiment or other. Commonly, they are known as Leaflings.   Leaf pixies can reproduce both sexiually and asexually, depending on the circumstances. Embryos develop on the leaf pixie's tail, making it look a lot similar to peas in a pod, thus labeling their tails as pods, as it seems they are hollow at all times, with the space for growing embryos. (As such, some jokingly call them Peaxies.) They can grow as many as 300 babies at once inside them, and they're incredibly smallĀ upon birth. It's normal for many of the babies to die before they reach adulhood, which is why the leaf pixies can give birth to so many at once.
