Cadlum Box

Cadlum boxes travel from tower to tower within Neolai. A recent invention by mage and artificer Cadlum Cadlum, they make it much easier and faster to move between the many towers. Initially, the box itself was made to function as a sauna with a view, but after a while the idea to modify it into a comfortable travel compartment was had, and the mechanisms to have it travel on thick wires and the flow of magic were created and installed. These boxes are becoming more and more common between the towers, funded by the wealthier folk for their own comfort, though in some towers they have become so prevalent that even people of lower income are able to make use of them.
There are plans to install Cadlum boxes elsewhere on Somer as well, and Cadlum is hoping his invention might grant him a seat or position near to the Vvakol Council.
