The Connection House to Suit the Comfort of All Our Outworlders

Purpose / Function

Originally, these house served as a farmhouse, before the need to help Outworlders get settled was required. Then, between 29 First Eclipse Era and 74 Second Eclipse Era, after the number of Outworlders decreased to a halt, it served as a waiting room to help the Outworlders get situated, and to teach a few basic schooling lessons, as the Outworlders can never remember anything.
Now, it is still used as a farmhouse, but we never got around to rebuilding the house again, as we never know if Outworlders are gone for good.

Design

The entire building is a rectangle, but it only has one room. On the inside, to a Scrap, it is a plain room with a few paintings on the walls. But to an Outworlder, we've found that the room seems to shapeshift to make them feel comfortable.

Entries

There are the double dark oak doors on the front, and a small metal door on the back. The windows tend to be locked, as these house contains sensitive information of Outworlders.

Sensory & Appearance

To us Scraps, these room is fairly bland, with the slight scent of cinnamon. But to an Outworlder, everything familiar and comforting appears. They report hearing music, seeing plants, feeling fuzzy, or smelling the scent of a fire from a warm, distant memory.

Contents & Furnishings

There is a large desk and two chairs, sometimes an extra one is pulled in, but whatever happens here is between the Scrap and the Outworlder.

Special Properties

The room is a shapeshifter. It plays sweet memories for the Outworlder and comforts them enough to talk to the manager Scrap.

Alterations

The house used to be longer than it was wide, with a porch in front. During its use for the Outworlders, it was stripped of all flooring and was turned on its side. Now, there has been a loft put in for the homeowner, but it still contains its shapeshifting property.
