Ancient Scrap Magic

Ancient Scrap Magic is the magic that was used by the now-extinct, deity-like species called Ancient Scraps. Like the Ancient Scraps themselves, we do not know much about their magic. We do not know if it was looked down upon or praised to create worlds and various entities, we do not know if the Ancient Scraps sometimes fought each other and if it was fair-game to use their magic. We do not even know how their magic works in its entirety. All that we have is a little spell-book that is filled with runes and carvings, and we cannot tell what the Ancient Scraps used to make these runes appear or whatever.

We do know that this magic could be the very key to our existence. Imagine all the things we could do with magic like this! There'd be no more hunger, wars,- oh, I shouldn't be so wishful with this magic thing. The important thing to know - just like everyone else - is that this Ancient Scrap Magic is why we're even here, talking to each other. Hopefully our magic-users will be able to decipher the language the book is written in to be able to use the magic. It'd be disaster if magic like this got into the wrong hands.

Utility

We imagine that the magic was creation magic, used to create each and every first being to walk the Scrapbook and to create each and every world and plane in the Scrapbook.

Ancient Scrap magic is no longer available to anyone. Even our strongest magic users from various worlds have been unsuccessful in recreating the magic from ancient times.

Complexity

We do not know exactly how Ancient Scrap magic works, only that it seems to require as series of runes, as illustrated in the book.

Discovery

We found an ancient book that somehow survived the end of the last Eclipse Era. However, this book was unable to truly answer our questions. The book is a spell-book, but the language is near undecipherable and any attempts to recreate rituals, spell-circles, or the runes depicted have so far been unsuccessful.
