Torch

One of man’s first weapons, a torch is simply a piece of wood set on fire. A well-made one will be wrapped in an oil-soaked cloth to ensure a good burn, but in a pinch, a chair leg’ll do just fine. Not the fanciest of weapons, but it keeps most critters at bay.
