SIG P226

Originally designed for entry into the US military's XM9 Service Pistol Trials back in 1984, the SIG P226 was one of two succesful completionists to the tests, with the other being the Beretta 92. While the Beretta was selected for wider use due to its lower package costs, the P226 was still adopted by the US military under the designation M11, where it would see use most notably by Navy SEALs. Aside from military service, the P226 has also seen widespread use in several law enforcement agencies, and has received praise throughout. The P226 can be chambered in either 9mm or .357 SIG.   Because the M11 is based on the more compact version of the P226, it receives a -1 to its Concealability Modifier.
