Browning Hi-Power

Before the Max-Power, there was the Hi-Power, a semiautomatic 9mm handgun manufactured by FN Herstal. Originally designed in 1935, the Hi-Power was produced and used throughout World War II all the way into the 2020's and beyond, by everyone from the Wermacht, to multiple contemporary Middle Eastern militaries, and even the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team in the 90's. Thanks to its rugged and dependable design, certain militias and law enforcement agencies in third-world nations still field Hi-Powers.
  • An interesting tidbit about these; they have a tendency to 'bite' the hand of an inexperienced shooter, with the hammer nipping at the web between the thumb and forefinger. It hurts like a bitch, and trains shooters to adjust their grip or swap the hammer out.
