Shadowlands
The Shadowlands BBS is a network of Matrix forums used by Shadowrunners to keep on top of major worldwide events. Members help keep track of major organizations, major events, day to day necessities and how runners can use all of these factors to both survive and make some money.
Most city-wide Matrix nodes have at least one connection to a local Shadowlands forum, all of which are maintained by a network of sysops, the chief of whom is Captain Chaos. Getting access to one of these nodes requires an access code only given to runners who have the right connections. Although it is made specifically for runners, low-level corporate types have been known to get on the forums, most likely hoping to turn the information there into profit for themselves.
