The Weeping Forest

The Weeping Forest is an area commonly believed to be cursed. Many a peasant has gone missing in their search for some of the rare natural resources believed to be residing in the area. Ebon-oak, commonly believed to be one of the strongest refined woods in the world, is perfect for battle axe and hammers. Even more alluring are reports of abandoned mines throughout the forest, leading all to question what valuable ore might also be found in the area.

No one truly knows what's inside, at least, nobody that has publicly explained its dangers. But whispers abound about weeping specters wandering through the dark and the sound of marching accompanied by no bodies.

Valuable resources? Certainly. Even more valuable treasures? Quite possibly. A fitting grave site for any cocky adventurer.
