Military: War

• A violent and chaotic conflict arises as competing terraforming corporations and newly independent settlers fight for control over planetary resources. With terraforming efforts well underway in Proxima Centauri and Alpha Centauri, disputes erupt over the rights of Splicer laborers, corporate exploitation of planetary resources, and territorial claims. Private security forces hired by corporations clash with settlers and rogue militias.
• Outcome: The war concludes with a fragile truce negotiated by local alliances of settlers and smaller corporations who band together against the larger megacorporations. This uneasy peace results in the formation of regional self-governance in parts of Proxima Centauri, limiting corporate overreach, while Alpha Centauri remains a corporate stronghold.
