Zhurhan's League

Zhurhan's League is an elite group of knights in the Pitelion Army. They were first founded by Zhurhan the Knight of the Five Heroes as an elite task force of soldiers that had proved their worth through heroic acts in battle. They are notably the only group of people aside from the representatives of the Pentide who at one point appeared to receive direct blessings from their patron god, although the power of those blessings are considerably less than those of the representatives. Records of those blessings describe things such as increased physicality, speed, or strength as well as notably heightened leadership and charisma.
However, along with the disappearance of the representatives of Pitelion after the death of Ratsuik, the blessings placed of the League members also faded, although the organization still exists to this day. Nowadays, League members are instead distinguished by being granted magical weapons or armor crafted by the representatives of Dorelion. Typically, each member is granted a title and specific weapon, crafted with guidance from Dorelion, to represent the heroic acts that earned them their place in the League. For instance, Sukren the Wraith Slayer was granted membership in the league after single-handedly tracking a Purge Wraith that was terrorizing rural towns in Shindus back to its lair and slaying it with his bow. Normally, Purge Wraiths are too large for a regular bow and arrow to have any effect, but Sukren managed the feat by first landing an arrow in the wraith's eye socket, blinding it, and then striking that arrow with a second shot that forced it into the wraith's brain. For that feat, he was granted a cobalt blue longbow, crafted to look like a spread pair of wings, and which granted him the ability to see farther and with more clarity than normally possible.
The league is incredibly small, typically only made up of about 10 members at a time, but those members are each as formidable as a few dozen regular soldiers. In the absence of the representatives of Pitelion, members of Zhurhan's League are also the highest ranking commanders of Pitelion's Army.
