True Elves

High Elves

The true elves, which consist of the Celestial elves and the Drow, sometimes known as high elves due to their stereotypically elitist ways, and Ar-tel-quessir (translated as true elves) in their own language are a rare subrace. Haughty and arrogant, true elves are ageless, nearly immortal creatures who hold the secrets of the origin of elves and possibly the world itself.
The main race of true elves are the Celestial elves, with the Drow being considered an aberrant off-shot.
True elves (and their mortal consorts) were the progenitors of all the mortal races of "lesser elves" such as moon, wood, sea, dessert, mountain elves, and half elves.
