A complete History of Rayal Creaking-Beam

Unlike many other Kenku he gave up on the dream of flying, taking to waves instead. He was a pretty good sailor, only hindered by his cleptomania. This was what saved him, he was in brig of his cargo ship, when it was attacked by pirates. They took him in, more of a mascot than anything else.
His knack for finding treasure made him valuable and after he learned how to fight on his own, he proved himself and was promoted time and time again.
He eventually acquired his own ship and crew, collecting as many people as treasure.
Has been a member of the council for a while, his input valued and appreciated.

Personality

Tends to go against the stream and is not a big fan of Tessa Fairwind, although he begrudgingly admitts that she is the right woman for the job.
Rayal is wicked smart and tends to use the reputation of the "dumb kenku" to his advantage and enjoys tricking his opponents.
