...a Khal-Vitaph field is definitely a sight to behold! Darorunem Somusen is built besides such a field, its a very special view when you see it with your own eyes. I strongly advise to visit it in the summer, in full bloom and just before its gathered for processing...
Ecology and Habitat
Khal-Vitaph (nov. Field-Brush) is a common short field flower, cultivated primarily in Darorunem Somusen. They grow in small bush-like formations, with wide leaves and stems ending in a vibrant cluster of small flowers. Most widespread colours are pink, purple and deep blue. The brush-like formation of flowers is what gives the flower its name.
Wild Khal-Vitaph's favoured places are hills and plains at the bases of mountains, and grows in large homogeneous fields, dominating all other species.
Use and Application
Flower
Khal-Vitaph's flowers have a strong spicy fragrance and taste. The dried flower powder is suitable for almost any dish as a seasoning, primarily meat ones.
