Ecology and Habitat
Small bushes of Duren-Guem (nov. Honey-Bead) are a common occurrence through the forests of the Valley of Many Rivers. the branches of the bush are thin and flexible, the flowers are tiny compared to the whole bush, but they are numerous, in contrast. A bush of Duren-Guem may reach waist height at best, usually being about knee-high. Duren-Guem favors place with shade, and thus, grows primarily in forests.Use and Application
Flower
Flowers of Duren-Guem are often used to make syrups and brew a sweet tea (Eiaz Tea), a popular type among the Novār. The dried flower powder can be used as a sweetener in confectionaries and pastries.Branches
Branches of the bush are used for weaving baskets and other containers.
