Ma'am Thency
Ma'am Thency is the defacto leader of Long Beach.
She is very elderly (over a hundred the locals say) and gets around on a wheelchair, not a wheelchair in the traditional sense, but simply some wheels made from bamboo attached to a normal chair.
She is waited on hand and foot by her great-granddaughter Sophia.
