Ulla is a blacksmith. She makes a lot of the tools used by the people of Wurzeldorf. She has set up a smithy right next to her house, and this is where she spends a lot of her time. Though the work is hard and often monotonous, now and then a challenge comes along to make things interesting. And after finishing a challenging project, she finds pleasure in returning to the more mundane work for a while. When she has time, she likes to see if she can improve on the knives she's made for her husband, whom is a butcher by trade.
