On the final day of their reign, Sovereign Fate declared all history false for one day only. The court wore white masks, and every decree reversed itself.

At midnight, Fate stepped down with the words, “I have been Jest all along. Or perhaps, I never was.”

Fate poisoned themselves and ends the reign of the Fool. They are buried beneath Caer Hanin beside an empty tomb for Jest.
