Lord-Regent Saevron
(Old Veyron — Caer Hanin, Ruined Capital)
A noble of House Alowen, he once served as a Minister of Doctrine under the Fifth Sovereign. Following the collapse of the Empire during the Mourning Star Rebellion, Saevron returned to Caer Hanin and declared the reconstitution of imperial authority under divine mandate. No coronation occurred. No council was formed. Saevron emerged from obscurity during the twilight years of the empire, amid spiritual chaos and civil ruin. Most Houses treated him as a usurper. Few openly defied him. He did not claim the throne, only guarded it until the awakening of a new Sovereign. In 501 AVD, that Sovereign was revealed: Saeryth, a child crowned in veils.
