Ira, Demon Lord of Wrath
One of the seven demon lords that rules The Land of Savage Warlords and oversees its Blood Arena.
Ira rules over The Land of Savage Warlords, a brutal and war-torn region where conflict is constant and might determines everything. It is a land where the strong rule and the weak perish, where the sound of clashing steel and the cries of the fallen are daily occurrences. The people here worship Ira above all, seeing his violent philosophy as the key to their survival in this unforgiving land.
Ira’s Blood Arena, located at the heart of his domain, is both a religious site and a place of entertainment. Warriors, gladiators, and beasts of all kinds fight to the death for the pleasure of Ira’s cult and the promise of power. Those who survive the brutal trials of the arena are considered blessed by Ira, and they are often given roles of authority in his warlord hierarchy. To Ira, the arena is not just a place of bloodshed—it is a sacred ground where the strongest prove their worth and claim their destiny.
Within the arena, Ira’s followers are trained in the art of violence and warfare from an early age. Children are taught to fight and kill, and those who cannot live up to Ira’s standards are cast aside. Each victory in battle is a step closer to becoming one of Ira’s champions, and those who fail to prove themselves are consumed by the bloodlust of the arena.
Ira’s influence extends beyond the arena itself. His cult is composed of brutal warriors, warlords, and mercenaries who travel the land, seeking to conquer and destroy. They are merciless in their pursuits, leaving behind a trail of destruction wherever they go. Cities and villages that stand in Ira’s way are obliterated, their inhabitants slaughtered or enslaved.
Ira’s cult of violence and war spreads to every corner of the world, corrupting societies and inspiring conflicts.
Battle is a constant presence in the world, and Ira’s influence can be seen in the rise of brutal conquerors, tyrants, and mercenaries. His followers are spread across the land, always looking for the next conflict to fuel their wrath. The concept of peace is anathema to Ira and his followers, who see it as a sign of weakness.
His cult has a deep connection to the bloodshed of battle, and those who follow him are drawn into an endless cycle of conflict. They are addicted to the adrenaline of combat, always seeking the next fight, the next battle, the next opportunity to unleash their wrath upon the world.
Ira is a manifestation of the sin of wrath, ruling a cult of brutality and bloodshed.
Ira was born from the notion that only through violence or destruction could one prove their worth. Superbia instilled in Ira that "might makes right," and the more one rages against perceived wrongs, the more legitimate their power becomes.
Physical Description
Ira is a towering and imposing figure, standing at a height of ten feet, his broad and heavily muscled form a testament to his embodiment of Wrath. His skin is a deep, striking blue, giving him an aura of power and intimidation. His face is fierce, with sharp features that reflect a constant, seething rage. Seven massive horns crown his head, each one a symbol of his absolute power and dominance, twisting upward in jagged arcs, adding to his menacing appearance.
Ira’s wings are large and bat-like, the leathery membrane stretched taut between his muscular frame and the sharp tips of his horns, allowing him to move with terrifying speed despite his size. His tail whips through the air like a weapon, muscular and tipped with a dangerous spade, ready to strike.
Ira’s most defining feature, however, is his six arms. Each one is powerful and capable of wielding an array of weapons—battleaxes, swords, spiked clubs, or hammers—whichever best suits his wrath in the moment. His arms ripple with muscle, giving him unmatched strength in combat. He wears only a barbaric, tattered red cloth around his waist, cinched with a skull buckle that symbolizes his savage nature, leaving his upper body exposed to show off his raw, bulging muscles.
When Ira is seen in battle, he is a whirlwind of fury, his multiple arms brandishing weapons with precision and brutality, his every movement filled with unrelenting rage. The air around him is thick with the stench of blood and the echoes of the violence he causes.
Personality
Ira is the personification of Wrath—a demon lord driven by unbridled rage and a hunger for destruction. He believes that true power comes not from diplomacy, compassion, or strategy, but from sheer violence and physical strength. His mantra is that “might makes right”—the strong deserve to rule, and only those who dominate others through force are worthy of respect. To Ira, all conflicts, be they personal or political, can only be resolved through battle and bloodshed.
Ira’s worldview is one where weakness is despised and any perceived wrong must be corrected through violence. He delights in chaos, chaos that is born from anger, and he encourages his followers to lash out at any obstacle they face. Anger and fury are seen as pure sources of strength, and Ira teaches that to rage against the world and tear down anything in one’s path is to gain legitimacy in the eyes of the strong.
Unlike some of the other demon lords, Ira sees no need for subtlety or cunning. He believes in the immediate satisfaction of one’s rage, in unleashing that fury without restraint. His followers are conditioned to believe that there is no wrong way to express anger, and all forms of violence are justifiable if they lead to greater personal power. Wrath is sacred, and those who are filled with righteous indignation—those who take action, no matter how violent—are doing the work of Ira.
Ira’s followers often partake in blood rituals and sacrificial rites, drawing strength from each violent act as a form of devotion to him. For Ira, every act of violence is an act of worship, and he draws immense power from the destruction his followers wreak upon the world.
