The Glittering Refuge

The first major island in the Solari Archipelago that sailors and adventurers encounter who have been exploring and charting out The Western Expanse. It's shores are said to have glittering effects when sailing into them from the Expanse (though this can only be confirmed or denied by those who have done it). There are two major port cities on this island with more humble docks up and down the coastlines for smaller vessels. The island is well settled, trades primarily within it's own archipelago and explorers returning from the Expanse. Voyagers use this island as a launch pad for their expeditions as well which helps to keep the economy stimulated. This island is also home to the largest Desert Elf settlement outside of Zimura.
